Barber announced his divorce from Ginny Cha, who is 8 months pregnant with twins, earlier this week. According to insiders, the former NFL star, 35, dumped Cha for 23-year-old Johnson, a former intern at NBC. No other details on the alleged affair were available.
"After 11 years of marriage, Ginny and I have decided to separate," Barber, a Today Show correspondent said in a statement. "This decision was a painful one, but we are moving forward amicably and will continue to work together to raise our children with the love and dedication they have always known."
Neither Barber nor Cha has commented on the mistress allegations.
